Data logger for direct attachment to a GPS mouse for mobile recording of NMEA data
Discription
GPS-MINI-DATALOGGER I is a robust, extremely compact data logger to record and analyze RS232 NMEA-GPS data streams . It can be used in automotive applications and features a memory capacity of up to 8 MByte. The complete NMEA dataset is recorded. The data logger is attached to the GPS receiver passively, i.e. the NMEA signal is available for other devices like PDA or Laptop-navigation systems at the same time, using an optional Y-cable. To set eventmarkers or for external control of the recording, the GPS-MINI-DATA LOGGER I has an additonal trigger input. The device is especially designed for mobile usage for interruption-free longterm data logging. It is characterized by its low power consumption with an automatic "power down" and "wake up" function, its high memory capacity and its easy handling. Configuration of the data logger (interface parameter, recording datasets, etc.) and transfer of the recorded data to the PC is done by an easy to use Windows software which is included.
