“Universal-RS232-MMC-Datalogger I” is a compact Data Logger to record and analyze serial RS232 data streams with a memory size with up to 512Mbyte. It is suitable for automotive. Unidirectional and bidirectional data communications can be recorderd (depending on the version). The Professional Version allows you to send data blocks cyclic, at fixed times or as an answer to a received data block. This allows fully automatic data logging or emulation of simple ECUs, for example. The unit is particularly designed for mobile operation in cars or for longterm data acquisition in the field or laboratory. It is characterized by its low power consumption with automatic “power down” function, its high memory capacity, the easy handling and its powerful configuration possibilities. With the help of standard MMC-flash memory cards the memory capacity is scalable and an easy change of the storage media without removing the data logger from the measuring point is possible. Configuration of the data logger (Interface parameters, time stamp, etc.)and visualization of the recorded data is done using the included, windows compatible software package.
