Versatile, modular evaluation and development platform based on innovative motherboard/daughterboard design
Thanks to its modular conception, the REva is our universal evaluation platform for a wide range of 8-bit and 32-bit microcontroller starter kits. This flexibility is based on an innovative design and SO-DIMM connector that allows users to use the same platform when working with different daughter board mounted microcontrollers.
The REva motherboard includes a complete set of evaluation features such as connectors for UART, CAN, I2C and SPI. It also includes a set of analog features, LEDs, pushbuttons and a wrapping area. In addition to these features, are features and connectors on the daughter boards which, depending on the device, may include USB and Ethernet.
For device programming and application debugging connection, the REva relies on its own embedded RLink. It interfaces with a host PC via USB connection, which may also be configured as the board power supply. The REva's RLink supports connection to target MCUs via 20-pin JTAG, 14-pin JTAG, SWD, SWIM and ICC connections.
REva daughter boards are available featuring a wide variety of 8-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers. They can be bought independently or are delivered as part of a REva starter kit.
